Meet Our Owner
Arlene Berlin is the founder of Berlin Speech Therapy and Language Services. She is a dual-certified professional, holding credentials as both a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With over 20 years of experience, Arlene has dedicated her career to helping children develop communication skills, build meaningful connections and thrive in their everyday lives.
Her academic journey began at the University of California, Riverside, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She went on to earn a Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University, Los Angeles, and later completed a second Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Emerson College, becoming a licensed speech-language pathologist.
Throughout her career, Arlene has provided services in schools, clinics, daycares and homes, always bringing a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach. She combines her expertise in speech-language pathology and applied behavior analysis to create a holistic, evidence-based therapy model that values each child’s individuality.
Families describe Arlene as a compassionate advocate and collaborative partner who empowers parents with practical tools while supporting children in developing confidence and communication skills. Her passion lies in ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, connect and find their voice.
